TurboedMJ
Does anyone know of a complete kit (shoes, all the springs and stuff, and the self adjusters) available to rebuild they back brakes on my 89 MJ? the only one I've found so far is this one, which is missing the self adjusters: https://www.quadratec.com/p/crown-automotive/rear-drum-brake-service-kit-cherokee-xj-comanche-mj-52001915K If you do let me know, I'm getting desperate. Strokermjcomanche
Why are you so desperate to buy a complete kit? You can piece everything together for a lot less money than the Quadratech kit . Raybestos drums $36 each On amazon Shoes ( less than $40 depending on what brand you Want combi kit less than $20 wheel cylinders $10 each adusters $10 each
87MJTIM
I just did my D44 brakes yesterday- wheel cylinders, adjuster kit and hardware kit. All purchased from NAPA. Cylinder and adjuster kits are L R specific. Includes self adjuster. I had to get the shoes from Auto Zone. NAPA couldn’t get the shoes. (I hate drum brakes. Makes me want to do the disk brake conversion.)

rokinn
Did mine this summer. Rockauto Drums - Raybestos 2515R x 2 Wheel cylinders - Centric 13461006 - 13461007 Shoes - Bendix 481 Parking brake cables - BC93591 x 2 Picked up the installation kit locally (springs etc), don't remember where. Napa probably. I think maybe I ordered one from Amazon and it was wrong. Paint your drums with some VHT Caliper paint. Good luck.
