Whitaker717 Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Hi guys, I have a replacement cowl I am looking to install, but it is the wrong color. At some point I am getting the whole truck painted. In the mean time, where is a good place to buy color matched paint. I have an 87 with the color briarwood metallic. Just looking for a spray paint can if at all possible. I just want to paint that cowl to someone match till I paint the whole truck. Thanks!
Eagle Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Most auto paint stores can custom mix a small batch of paint for you and put it in an aerosol can. You'll need to have the paint code, OR take in the old cowl and they can probably scan that to get an almost perfect match for faded paint.

Classy Comanche Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Just found this thread. If anyone has the bright red. I think it's called Colorado Red or something? I do have a small thing of touch up paint from factory distributed by AMC/Jeep. No idea of any codes or anything of importance on there would be helpful.
