Xj tank swap

Has anyone made a xj tank fit where the spare tire goes? Planning on a diesel swap and would Like to use a genrite 30.5 gallon tank before going with a toolbox/tank combo taking up bed space. I know jcr did a tj tank in there's so I don't see why a xj Tank wouldn't work

Max capacity for an XJ tank is 20 gallons. Not worth it. Get an MJ 23.5.

I think he’s referring to the 30.5 gallon genright tank for the XJ.
