Dash refinishing

Has anyone ever restored their dash pad? I have the honey tan one and it has just 1 spot where it is cracked. It is also faded. Any tips to try to bring it back? Thanks

Someone used some plaster or something like that on their dash to patch spots and repainted the dash to hide it but it doesn’t have the texture.

I imagine that youtube has a few videos on repair a dashpad.   then you'll need the proper SEM paint to match.  we've got a thread on those in the DIY section.

just hunt on marketplace, thats what i did. most of the youtube vids involve painting the dash with shiny paint. i got a nice non cracked dash out of a 96 cherokee for less than 100$ bucks. ill be using SEM interior paint in mine to insure theyre all the same color, I'm color changeing from grey, to light tan. Comanche parts cost more than Cherokee parts but theyre the same parts.👍
