Gas Tank Recommendations

I need a new gas tank for 90 (RENIX) Short Bed. Does anyone have any recommendations for a source or any suppliers

to avoid ?

I got mine from O'reiley's no complaints, great quality, powder coated grey and fit perfectly

I bough new rollover valves from MTS since I don't want to have to change them later (one tank pull is enough)

Bought a Spectra from RockAuto, no complaints

Thanks guys. I noted that the Spectra JP5B tank on Rockauto says it is for a carburetor engine. What would be the difference??

none that I'm aware of for the tank itself (carbed engines didn't have an electric fuel pump) BUT the only MJ that got a carbed engine was the 86 which came in longbed version only.  you'll need a shortbed tank.

I went with the Spectra tank and straps. Now to find the J-bolts. Thanks for the help.

GOODMARK GMK2111749681 will work for j-bolts.  Available on rockauto.
