Brake lights won't work

I have an 1986 Jeep Comanche with no brake lights. Old switch blew and I replaced it. Still no break lights. No Blown fuses all running lights work and all turn signals lights work. Any ideas?

Remove all the bulbs and check the contacts. Try reinstalling them one at a time and keep testing your lights.
 

Also, lets see if @Pete M can move this to the modifications and repairs section.

Do the Hazards work? If not, double check the hazard/stop fuse.

Mine did this randomly for a bit, turned out to be a corroded brake/hazard fuse and dirty fuse socket, check this out closely.
