Muncher
Bigger bolt heads on the corners smaller ones in the middles and I belive the longer ones go into the timing cover. Not exactly what your looking for but a brief explanation

AZJeff
4 hours ago, cruiser54 said: Cruiser, where do you dig up this stuff? I am impressed. And for the OP, aside from the fastener size difference on the four "corners" of the pan, I just put the ones with the stud heads on them whereever I see a bracket that is supposed to be anchored to the stud side. That's usually the trans. cooling lines, and the O2 sensor wires on the model years where that is applicable.

cruiser54
I hand made/scribbled a diagram and someone on Cherokee Forum made the nice rendering. As always, always feel free to "steal" my stuff and share it.
Andy in Pa
I actually added studs to 2 of the back mounts on the oil pan to help pull the pan up evenly when aligning the gasket and tightening the bolts. It really helped keep things in place.
