Rear bumper lights?

Hi all,

I have what appears to be two aftermarket light fixtures on my rear bumper and am wondering if this was a factory option or if it was a dealer installed option.

 

 

I know the hole is buggered up really good but the cuts are well done and are the same on both sides of the license plate holder.

If it's a factory option I'll replace the lamps and get the switch working.

if you put headlights back in, be sure to run it all with a relay

Sorry gang I missed your comments here,

I agree this is likely a homebrew installation. I suspect they were the stock fog lights (I have the switch but no fog lights) that somebody moved into the bumper.

Personally, I'm not a "put lights everywhere" kind of guy, but lights might look better than these fugly holes.

 

Pete, if I wire them up there will def be a relay involved.
