ax-15 clutch

before i bolt in my ax-15 i was going to get a clutch kit with slave cylinder. do i get one for my 87 mj or one for an ax-15?

if you order it from a parts store they will ask you the year and what tranny so... i know when i ordered mine they wanted both

The splines on the clutch disc have to match those on the input shaft on the transmission. The stock clutch might work, just find out how many splines each one has.

 

Try the one that the transmssion was originally in

Whatever you do, get an external slave setup. Internal slaves were the worst idea made by anyone. Ever.

The AX-15 and BA 10/5 share clutches, but the pilot bearing is different. Slave should interchange (only thing I found different when I compared the 2 kits)
