jdog Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 What we have hear is failure to communicate, oh wait wrong thread Here we have a 1963 dodge polara. Designed by Virgil Exner, guy had some really crazy designs in the early 60s for Chrysler. In 1964 they started to look more like Fords due to staffing changes. These vehicles started the af/x and factory experiments. Enough boring history, this one started out as I believe a small block car, it was purchased in the 90s by my father with no engine or trans and the hood was stuck up. He eventually stuck a big bock 413 and a transmission from a imperial in it and drove it for a while, then the 440 went in. The car is a little rough body wise(pretty sure every panel has a dent somewhere). The plans for it are: 12.5/1 compression 440 running on e85. Cope racing valve body and pushbutton transmission. 3.91 gears in the rear and a max wedge scoop. After all that is done then body work and paint, gonna keep the two tone. Oh yeah this is also the race car build.

jdog Posted May 22, 2022 Author Posted May 22, 2022 I've rebuilt the engine harness, got to add a few circuits in 20220521_165014.mp4
jdog Posted June 5, 2023 Author Posted June 5, 2023 Trans has been built, mated to the engine and stuffed into the car, full 3 in exhaust with 3.5 headers, front and rear suspension has been gone thru. E brake fixed, other things replaced. So close to the end, yet it feels so far away
Pete M Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 that last steps always take the longest. but you'll get there
