Water Leaking into Cab

So now that I’ve got the truck running pretty good and driving it more and more. I discovered that the leak into the cab is coming down near the trans hump behind the dash. I previously resealed the the windshield before painting while I had the windshield trim off. I’ve also checked all the through firewall holes to ensure they are sealed with good grommets or sealed them with outdoor silicone. Any thoughts where to look or what to do? In a good rain water drips near the gas pedal and down the passenger side of the hump.

have you replaced the back-of-the-hood seal yet?

Have you checked the a/c vent tube? If it’s plugged you’ll get water out of the heater vents.

Yes that is new and hood properly adjusted.

Another possibility is the seals for the heater box/duct work. Everything from the cowl vent down can dry rot and cause a leak.
