I’ve had that old truck to part out for a couple years but six day work weeks kept me busy. We are now on strike for who knows how long so I’m taking advantage of the situation. I will be posting a fair bit of stuff in the next few days . I looked on eBay awhile back and checked prices on AMC 20s and about choked. While I have you, what is the difference between a high and low pinion front axle? The one I have, the driveshaft is at the top of the housing. Eagle Posted October 20, 2021 Share Posted October 20, 2021 A lot of equipment could be ordered as separate options in the AMC days. It's quite possible that the Model 20 axle was ordered as part of some other package rather than the Metric Tonne package. Possibly a towing or tow prep package.
