Euramtec cargo lights

Ok guys I am at my wits end here. I put the new euramtec lights in and when I got the first one done it was working great. Followed some advice on how to do the wires correct and it worked great. Door open light came on, flipped it and it came on. Now with the drivers door open the light don’t come on. I can flip it and it comes on. The passenger door works great. I open the door they both come on. Flip it, it comes on. Why the heck won’t it come on with my drivers door open. What the heck is going on here.

Driver's door jam switch is bad, or the wiring to it.

Is that fairly simple to change.

The door ajar switch just unscrews from the door frame. I think they changed the switch in '90 so pull yours to get the right one.

They also can be cleaned if you’re a dime short on change. I had some sticky issues with my drivers side and simply unscrewed them and gave them a good wire brush scrub. And popped a fuse along the way lol.

Thanks guys I will try all of them. It was just weird to me it originally worked now it doesn’t when I open the door. Lol
