I'd like to replace it, and get a few spare keys with it (since I only have one), and have it coded so that it matches the door locks. What are the part numbers I should be looking for? Taking the new cylinder to a locksmith and having it re-coded from the keys it comes with to your old key is probably the best bet, if it's possible at all. Alternatively, you could see if you could get one through a locksmith. I doubt the dealership would be of any help, but @eaglescout526 might be able to prove me wrong. Lock smiths can recode and I learned from one of my coworkers that he does code and recoding of key cylinders on the side. Problem is is that the techs these days don’t get taught everything they should know so something like recoding a cylinder has gone the wayside like tuning a carburetor or simple diagnostics.
