Kickin’Chicken Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Any idea where this goes? It’s hot all the time.
scaleless Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Probably the under hood light wire. Always hot, and is switched by a push button switch on its ground.
eaglescout526 Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Yup hood light. Please for the love of Chrysler do not connect it to your coil even though it has a prong in it that will fit.

I noticed that recently too.

Anyways, Andy to answer your question I would have to presume it’s either a test spot or at one point it was meant to have something plug in that was only supposed to power on when the vehicle is running.
cruiser54 Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Renix was used on numerous vehicles in Europe before Jeep used the system.
