Fuel Pump Question

Any ideas as to why the fuel pump would lose voltage? It worked fine for a while, shut it off, quit working on it for a while, tried to start it, and the fuel pump has no voltage. Can't find anything obvious, figure someone has chased this gremlin and may have insights. I already doubled up on the grounding, i am not getting any + voltage that I can find.

Did you check the two (2) wires on the Fuel Pump Ballast Resistor (FPBR). Sometimes they get knock off. Also check the FPBR by bypassing it. Connect both leads together and try starting the vehicle.

Yes, that is the last thing I checked before coming in to the computer.

Have you tried applying direct power to the pump to verify if it actually works still?

Check the weather tight connector to the pump. I chased my tail on a fuel pump last year. I checked at the connector it had power. Figured the pump was bad Swapped a known good pump, still wouldn't work. It turned out one of the pins had had loosened up in the connector just enough to lose contact now and then.

Have you done any work in the driver side panel by the e-brake? I somehow loosened the harness connector there and would get intermittent fuel pump not running, if I slammed the door it would then work.
