Muncher
Hi. I'm looking for a bench that has the head rests. Preferably someone rhat would be willing to take just the head rests and the peices that connect them to the seat frame off.

I have my 1991 bench seat disassembled right now, and I don't see anyway to remove the pieces that hold the headrest. The cushion is molded around the frame and can't be removed to access that area. The plastic inserts that the headrests slide into are hard to remove. In my experience, they usually break the retaining tabs when being removed, unless you cut into the seat (bucket seat) and actually depress the retaining tabs while you work them out. I don't see any way to do that with a bench seat unless you cut into the foam.

Pete said something about having the peice from a head rests bench and he was going to put it on his. Nkt sure if he had to cut the bench cushion open or not
Pete M
I using the entire back frame (or at least that's the plan). I don't see any way to disassemble the frame any more. it's like the foam was molded right to it.
eaglescout526
Pete you are correct. Foam is molded to the upright frame. Also 90-92 is correct for the bench with head rests.
