Started life as a 1988 Comanche MJ, short bed with 113k miles

Full 97+ XJ conversion, drivetrain, exterior, interior, wiring, etc...

• Drivetrain all from 1999 Cherokee with approx. 165k miles, 4.0L engine, AW4 auto transmission and 231 4wd t-case. The donor for most everything else was a 2000 Cherokee
• Engine was refurbished with new rings, bearings, lifters, head gasket, water pump, plugs, etc...
• Front axle is a HP Dana 30 (non-disconnect) with lock-rite locker, has new ball joints and hubs
• Rear is Ford 8.8 with factory limited slip locker and disc brakes
• Geared to 4.56
• Heavy-duty steering
• Nearly new 33x12.50x15 Mud tires with full size spare and matching rim
• 6.5" lift with adjustable control arms and new adjustable track bar with drop bracket. Recently aligned by Les Schwab in Castle Rock.
• Interior is from a new XJ and the seats are from a Grand Cherokee
• Bluetooth stereo, nothing fancy but speakers all work
• Paint is a single stage auto paint, recently installed graphics from Phoenix Graphics (oem reproduction from the 1986 Comanche)
• Heavy-duty front bumper with synthetic line winch and stinger (bolted on so can be removed if desired)
• Hi-Lift jack mounted to roll bar
• New windshield installed with newer, rubber style windshield gasket
• OEM Comanche badges, taillights, and trim
• Custom tonneau cover and bed has been covered with bed-liner
• Remote locks, power windows, cruise
• Secure start

Still outstanding:
• Install the 1" rear wheel spacers, included (8.8 is slightly narrower than D30)
• Wire the 3 LED pods on the roll bar
• AC needs recharged

Depending on the offer, I will also include the following to make this a more aggressive off-roader:
• Long arm upgrade kit, includes arms and cross member
• Extended Rugged Ridge fender flares, Hurricane flat style. Originally for a TJ but would work on the MJ with a little modifications
• Tail light adapter brackets to fit newer JK style taillights, helps to save the OEM lights from trail damage

Has a rebuilt title from one of the previous owners, I do not know the history before me but I will include the necessary disclosure documents

Currently titled, registered, and insured in CO without issue

Includes new CO emission certificate

Asking $13,500 obo

Very few 97+ converted Comanche MJ's come up for sale. Even nice Comanche's are getting rare and harder to find, especially with a short bed. Text or email me if you have any questions, we can set up a time to talk. Have lots of pictures and history of the build and happy to talk through it with serious buyers. No test drives without cash or proof of funds. Cash sale preferred but may consider trade + cash on your end. If you are going to propose any trades, please be very detailed.

I ran into him on the trail yesterday.  The truck looks good and did well on the obstacles on Hatchet Gulch (moderate/difficult trail).

He'll have a new muffler on it in the coming days.  It dropped off on the trail.
