rylee144 Posted March 5, 2021 Author Posted March 5, 2021 Yes but its holding the trans up. I'll work on propping into up so I can take it
MiNi Beast Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 done yet? ill be getting mine in this evening once I'm done cleaning house like a good boy.
rylee144 Posted March 6, 2021 Author Posted March 6, 2021 I have to work all weekend. first chance will be monday
rylee144 Posted March 8, 2021 Author Posted March 8, 2021 It's in! I should have asked questions before about a few things but here goes. I have an old breather hose that went in the top of the old trans, photo 1 and 2. There isnt a hole for it in the ax15. Next this little plug doesnt have a home now that used to plug in the side of the ba10, pics 3 and 4. I have this plug now on the ax15, pic 5. I need a plug for this hole, I should be able to figure out what goes there. Photo 6 is the back of the transfer case. And lastly I have to figure out where my speedo cable plugs in
rylee144 Posted March 8, 2021 Author Posted March 8, 2021 Almost forgot these plugs and breather tube I think on the transfer case
rylee144 Posted March 8, 2021 Author Posted March 8, 2021 Second to last photo is where the speedo cable housing goes. Does a housing exist that would work with my current cable?
Pete M Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 I've seen some transmissions that just have a little wobbly plastic cap on the top that served as the breather.
rylee144 Posted March 15, 2021 Author Posted March 15, 2021 Before I fill her up thought I'd double check. 10w30 synthetic for the ax15 and atf4 for the 231j t case?
rylee144 Posted March 15, 2021 Author Posted March 15, 2021 3 minutes ago, Pete M said: yup Thanks pete
rylee144 Posted May 15, 2021 Author Posted May 15, 2021 I need to buy a piece of metal rod that goes into this rubber holder. Does anyone know the diameter of the hole or rod?
MiNi Beast Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 How they did mine. Simply works. or I have my old rod I could send you.
rylee144 Posted May 15, 2021 Author Posted May 15, 2021 thx for the offer. I just went to the city shops here in town and raided their scrap bin. found a couple sections of rod i think should work. What you did is what i was planning.
