CoastChief Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Was messing with a friends ender 3 dragon. Was shocked at the quality for 180$.
Pete M Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 what, no curly tail? aside from piggy banks, what's the plan for it?
AeroNautical Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Not bad, I'm looking into buying a 3d printer myself. It'd be nice to just "make" any small part I need. I've seen them as high as $10K. $180 is the cheapest I've heard of, and it appears to do the job pretty well.

CoastChief Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 It was super simple, it took 6 hours it was a demo test. My friend is using it for model making in architecture. It can print complex parts pretty fast. We used YT and figured how to make files and everything.
gogmorgo Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 McMaster-Carr has CAD drawings of most of the things they sell available for free on their webpage. Might make the file creation part quicker for you.
kook911 Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 https://www.thingiverse.com this place has tons upon tons of pretty much anything you want to make. It’s a open source and free to use.
