martywarner
Hey Guys. Has anyone used the Rusty's off road throttlebody spacer for the 89 4.0L ? Does it make a signifficant difference and How about the Rusty's air intake with K&N filter was there noticable gains with either product or combined. the reason is I'm looking to increase my fuel mileage on a stock 89 eliminator. Thanks for any help guys. Marty :Canadaflag:
LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW
A TB spacer will give you no gains at all. Bore your TB out, than your talking about gains. Lead_"I've dyno proven the TB spacer myth with no results"_Follow
Pete M
Multi port injection simply doesn't care about the extra 1" of space. Maybe for a carb or TBI, but I still wouldn't put my money into one.
jtdesigns
I say if you could wrap the exhaust to keep the intake air cooler. you would do better then any kinda thicker gasket.
