Adding AC

Has anyone had success with adding AC to a non AC truck. Iv found a thread on here, but it has no results. Curious if anyone has a parts list, or kit theyve used?

Minuit and eaglescout have both done it, it's in their build threads, I'm going to be doing it soon.

Stock 1988 swb 4.0 ax15 np 231.

I recommend trying to stick with your era for your truck as it should make installation less of a headache down the road.

If you can't find parts there is an 89 XJ at the AMC salvage I frequent that has the AC lines and brackets. I took the controls and dash wiring though.

I’ll defiantly most likely take you up on that. I’m looking at a MJ in the junkyard as we speak. It’s 2 hours away but has a brush guard and the AC components. About to head out .
