I replaced my drivers side door hinges and added the reinforcement plate. Works great and was able to find the oem hinges from teamcherokee.com. Now my passenger side is going out and would like to do the same thing but can’t find any hinges. If anyone knows where to get an oem set that would be great. If not, what hinge pins will fit if I rebuilt it?

Are the rear doors the same? They sell both sides for rear I think

That’s what I was wondering as well. I saw the sets for the rear doors and they look the same when looking at the pictures. Perhaps someone could shed some light on this.

Awesome! How can I get some? Is there a resource for finding and ordering these?

Dealership. For me at least. I try to avoid the aftermarket scene as best as I can.

Front and rear hinges are slightly different but interchangeable, which is good to know especially when looking for used hinges. XJ rear hinges are typically in much better condition than front hinges.

How are they different or what needs to be done to interchange? I was planning on cutting of my hinges and installing the reinforcement plate along with new ones.

The part that welds on is trimmed back on the rear hinges, you could add the metal back or weld them on as is.

Otherwise they are the same hinge.
