RustyRodder Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 Working on replacing rotted loom and tidying up, i found these 2 wires off the C101. Are they supposed to connect somewhere? I couldnt find another end. But apparently this section also holds my electrical short, so theres that.

Ωhm Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 CPS fix was to bypass C101 and wire directly to the ECU. Can you back track the loose wires to C101 and determine there pin locations?
Eagle Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Simple check -- find your CPS. The wires from the CPS go to a 3-pin connector. Do the wires from that connector then lead into a wiring loom with a bunch of other wires, or do they lead directly to a hole through the firewall?
cruiser54 Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 When the CPS bypass was done at the dealership, it specifically stated in the instructions to fold those old and unused wires back and tape them. Rarely happened......
RustyRodder Posted July 10, 2019 Author Posted July 10, 2019 I will check the wires- I keep the truck at my parents, so its not right outside sadly. But since it starts, I would guess yes to the CPS bypass.
