rideordie Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Hey guys, does anybody have the measurement from the top of the frame the bed sits on to the top of the cab? Looking to put a camper on a Comanche and need that measurement to figure out if this project is realistic or not. Thanks in advance :)
Pete M Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 admittedly I'm measuring to the top of a "theoretically" (aka not yet proven, but should be) MJ-specific Leer cap (I'm in michigan and have access to my MJ trailer, not a whole MJ) but I get 44" from top of frame to where the top of the cab would be.
89 MJ Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 I could get the measurement today if you still need it.

89 MJ Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 From the top of the frame to the center of the top of the cab is about 44 inches give or take a quarter. If I were you though, I would cut the frame off be behind the cab and build a tube frame to match the wheelbase, get you desired height, and make something stronger.
