madog7200
Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've been on here, hope all is well for everyone I'll start off by saying that I'm terrible with electrical jobs and stuff like that but I do work at a big truck shop and had one of our best electrical technicians take a look Halfway through this past summer my A/C quit working which sucked but I figured I'd just deal with it until I got around to fixing it... I've now noticed that my aux fan doesnt work either and after doing some research I've come to the idea that both problems are probably linked, but I can't figure out what is wrong... I have to get this fixed because I sit in traffic about 30 minutes every day in Nashville I was hoping someone could explain a step by step of what I should check I have the aux fan wired to a switch for now, The compressor is getting no power, but works correctly when I use a power probe, and the freon is filled to correct specs Thanks in advance guys 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
Limeyjeeper
Did you check the pressure switch on the drier? If that isn't working the compressor won't start.
Minuit
That would be my first thought as well, after verifying that the system really is charged using manifold gauges.
