Gjeep
Looks good, but I agree seems too high in the back. Either lift the front 3” or swap shackles to bring the rear down a little.
mbwarhorse
Oh wow... Its been a while... Been working 12's + saturdays ... UGH! SO... I have sound deadening in, new fuel pump in a new tank ... bought a dial type trailer brake 4 it... Darn near cut my thumb off on that silly double sided carpet knife... ran into a snag with the wiper motor till I found a guy in SC that rebuilds them.... Found a thread on here for the SEM paint for vinyl interior panels so I'm waiting for them to arrive.... Its kinda cool that so many parts come in almost the same red =)
Pete M
lucky indeed! reds are usually very hard to match up.
mbwarhorse
Things have slowed down a little ... rebuilt the tailgate latch & repainted the interior plastic... The medium gray was a good match but the Granite was off quite a bit....I managed to destroy the drivers visor learning how to take it apart!!! LOL!!! mbwarhorse
Found some time to work on her this weekend. Wet sanded the clear & hopefully next weekend I can buff it out. There are a few fisheyes I couldn't get out but once the shine is brought out I think they will be very hard to see....
mbwarhorse
Things slowed down at work long enough to get her loaded up .... Shes off to get wheeled out, then to the spring shop & get that rake mellowed out a bit.... Babys out of the barn!
Pete M
what a huge milestone! careful about getting the rake perfectly level as it'll likely sag a bit once you put anything in there.
mbwarhorse
Agreed!! That why I'm taking her to a place that does this for a living. I want her up in the back an inch or two so with a "reasonable load" like a dirt bike & gear. she sits without sag. I trust their "Guess" much more than my "guess"....
