Griff04 Posted May 28, 2018 Posted May 28, 2018 Started a new "build thread" but was recommended that I post questions over here in the Tech forum which makes sense...I will probably have several while reviving the Comancher but will keep them separated in different posts in hopes of helping someone else. Found this round object floating around the engine bay, appears to have a vacuum line and sensor hooked to it. Not quite sure what it is and where it mounts??
Pete M Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 that's your vacuum reservoir. usually it mounts inside the front bumper on the pass side. but you can put it anywhere you'd like.
Griff04 Posted May 29, 2018 Author Posted May 29, 2018 Thanks Pete, I knew it was vacuum related. I’ll see if I can locate it in the FSM, at least I know where to start looking for details on it now.

Minuit Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 That pic shows the holes on the "face" of the bumper, but I'm not sure I've ever seen one mounted that way. The holes to mount it on every bumper I've seen are in the same location (on the right of the bumper) but on the bottom. If you decide to put it back in the stock location you'll see.
