Build date is unknown, the text is all gone from the sticker. Northwest, Sandy, Oregon Been my daily driver for the past year or so with about 105k miles on her. Garnet Metallic paint on the outside, red interior, column shift, bench seats, all stock except for some wheels. eaglescout526 Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 Unless the OP goofed the VIN when reading it, unfortunately if the whole VIN is wrong when we run it, we run the last eight and that usually yields us a VIN. I've never studied one line of vehicle this much. With that said these VIN's are weird! I'm guessing the used the same last eight digits on the XJ platform. When the AMC files where transferred to Chrysler and then to Daimler-Chrysler and then FCA only one VIN got transferred to the new system. I know beacuse we are a dual like dealership, GM still has multiple vehicles that use the same last 8. Not as normal now as it was in the 2000ish era. Back then a last 8 on GM would usually pull a Truck, car, and at least one other Line. ( Chevy, GMC, Pontiac, Olds, Buick) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
