Shackles

I looking at getting the 2inch rough country shackles. They say XJ but I’m assuming they work on ours too. Anyone have experience with these?

MJ shackles are longer than XJ shackles. They will fit and lift, but I believe they will only give .75" of lift over factory shackles. Some XJ guys use MJ shackles for a cheap lift.

Don't think so. To provide 1.5 inches of lift, they would have to be 3 inches longer than stock MJ shackles.

Stock MJ shackles are 1 inch longer than XJ shackles providing 1/2 inch of more lift. Shackles only lift one end of the spring therefore lifting half the amount.
