banshee
Maybe nothing an easy fix but last year my heater blew quite hard, this year it seems not as hard. I hear the blower but not much out of vents regardless of position Any ideas?? Sent from my LG-H740 using Tapatalk
Dzimm
Have you been regularly driving a different vehicle with the heat or ac on recently? Maybe you have gotten used to the higher air speed out of the vents of the other vehicle which now makes it seem like your air speed is lower in the MJ? Pull the blower motor out to check for rodent nests behind it. Also look under the dash on the passenger side and push up on the door to blow air on the passengers feet and see if you see anything. The motor itself may be dying as well but idk if there is a way to test that.
Minuit
The MJ's heater when in good working order is quite good at moving air in my experience. Ditto what Dzimm said, I'd open up the recirculation door and peek at the blower motor. Also make sure the air is coming out from where it should be, i.e. not blowing at the windshield - that would indicate a vacuum leak somewhere. carnuck
Right above the gas pedal is a heater vacuum control that gets the hose knocked off easily and then it won’t switch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
banshee
An update I move the actuating arm located passengers side just below dash and air flow increases but turns coolerSent from my LG-H740 using Tapatalk
cruiser54
Poke your noggin under the passenger side dash and look up. Through that eggcrate looking grille you can see the blower motor wheel. Full of junk?
banshee
Removed heater blower and ECU. Inserted a water hose thru blower hole and washed foam covering heater coreMuch Much better airflowSent from my LG-H740 using Tapatalk
