MeanLemons
I started building them when I needed a couple for my jeeps and everybody who saw them in my build thread liked them and started asking me to build them some mounts too. To the point I finalized the design and worked out pretty good on my rigs and few other test guinea pigs. The entire mount is clnstructed of two pieces; an upper piece (it has two holes that get bolted to the transmission), and a lower piece (it has 4 bolts welded to it for the crossmember). It takes common polyurethane bushing halves and a sleeve. The grade 8 hardware are included. So far I have two styles; an offset (91-99 XJs/ 91-92 MJs with 4.0L and a centered style (91-01 XJs with 2.5L, 00-01 XJs with 4.0L, and 91-92 MJs with 2.5L) I haven't verified if it also work for renixs yet. Haven't had time to look into it but you guys bet I ll get around to it. (Unless one of u guys know the verdict?) Nominal prices are $95 plus $13.60 shipping/handling. ($108.60 total) using USPS Medium flat rate boxes. Pictures coming in the next post.

HOrnbrod
Fit both 91-92 manual and auto transmissions? 2WD also?

A quick look at RockAuto showed no distinctation between 2wd and 4wd transmissions. Also showed same part numbers for both automatic and manual transmissions. i also checked for Renix years and it also showed that they used same mounts on the early AW4's AND Peugeot 5 speeds. Which I found a bit strange because some google research showed that Peugeot mounts were oddball type that were only used for same type. So I suppose we shall see. MeanLemons
Ah I think I do have my 1991 2wd ax15 mount still at home from when I parted it out. I ll check it with the poly mounts to see if it's the same.
HOrnbrod
As far as I can see, your mount replaces only the #24 cushion on the below diagram from the 91 parts manual. It looks like #24 is the same mount for manual or auto trannys and there is also no distinction between 2WD and 4WD. Should work on all. But what is your offset mount for? MeanLemons
The offset/centered has to do with the crossmember... those 4 holes on it where the studs goes in the crossmember are located differently between 2.5L and 4.0L. As for the XJ, they started using centered version on 4.0L in 2000. So thus 2000/2001 XJs with 4.0L need entered mounts.
MeanLemons
I ll also like to note that 2.5L mounts and 00-01 4.0L mounts share common bolt pattern but the 4.0L are actually about 1/4"-3/8" taller. abd I know 2.5L guys commonly use those centered 4.0L mounts as an upgrade over OEM 2.5L mounts. So I will not market any 2.5L mounts but I will use the centered 4.0L mounts instead.

MeanLemons
It ll appear so. I ll have to verify when I get home and look under my 2wd renix automatic MJ.

TheJeepNut
apologies... my life is ridiculous and just getting round to mail again. That's the p/n circled in the drawing from HOrnbrod. My point I guess was that I'm not worried about fit. I'm junking the Pug tranny and will be swapping in all AX-15 parts, supports, etc. So, I didn't initially realize it, but the comment was redundant as you'd already noted in the post that the offset is in the crossmember not the support cushion.
