Tail light/ blinker issues

Having some wiring issues with my 89 comanche. When my headlights are off the brake lights and blinkers work fine. as soon as I turn on my headlights, my brake lights come on like I have my foot on the brake pedal and stay like that until I turn my headlights off. Also with my headlights on, when I try using the left blinker, it sticks on but doesn't blink. The right blinker is normal. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check grounds, especially the one behind the drivers taillight.  That should solve the issue but If it's not a ground issue, you've got a short somewhere.

This will sound dumb, but.....confirm you have the correct bulbs installed.

and check for corrosion in all the sockets.
