Do the Fender Flare Kit and the Fender Flare Retainer Kit by Crown® for Jeep Cherokee 1988 fit a 1988 Jeep Comanche? Crown says the front of these fit.

Thanks

Order the two door kit. I've noticed that some kits for two doors also say will fit comanche. The rear flare for a two door is one piece, the rear flare for four door is two piece.

Comanche rear flares are NOT the same as 2-door Cherokee rear flares. The Comanche wheel arch is longer and higher.

Cherokee rear flares WILL NOT fit a Comanche. This thread is not about aftermarket flares, it's about OEM replacements. OEM Cherokee flares are one piece, regardless of whether it's a 2-door or a 4-door.

I don't know who started this rumor, but it just will not die... 2 DOOR CHEROKEE REAR FLARES DO NOT FIT ON A COMANCHE!

The Crown kit will work fine for the front. I'm running the Crown stock replacement retainers on my 91 and I have no complaints. It's pretty much an exact reproduction of the factory part.

One other comment regarding Cherokee XJ 2DR and 4DR rear fender flare differences:

THERE ARE NONE! 2DR & 4DR REAR FLARES ARE THE SAME!

Thank You Guys. I got two sets of older Flares but the Jeep is being painted so I was interested in New. I bought the Retainer kit, I may be able to adapt the back retainers. The Comanche is a 1988 4 Cyl 2WD Standard. Most of my fixes came off of a 1986 Comanche 4WD with V6 that developed blow-by and was carburetor so it's in my Yard.
