cruiser54
I would add the 99.5+ intake manifold. I think some advertise 300 hp with the stroker. 260-270 is commonly advertised with strokers. Sorry to say it, BUT the key word above is "advertise". I think Don may have a before/after dyno with the addition of the 99.5+ intake to share. The factory claimed 195 horsepower, including a number of other minor tweeks made. Surely if it made a bigger horsepower difference, the factory would have reported it? agreed. at that point, they were more concerned about emissions than horsepower..... Don does - HERE On the last dyno run the 99.5+ intake alone was good for ~12HP on the stroker. For every suck mod you make, you have to equalize it with a blow mod. I have to go back for another run one of these days since I've done a lot of little stuff since.
Broke
I remember reading somewhere that Chrysler themselves, when they were working on the early HO models, managed to hit 300HP on little more than an absurdly aggressive tune at the expense of having Class B RV gas mileage. Is there any truth to this or am I remembering wrong?

75sv1
I was not implying that the 99.5+ intake was worth a bunch of HP. Just that some strokers claim 300 hp. At that, I think they sonic map the block for core shift. Some have reported losses with the 99.5 intake. I would agree that what you do on intake will not see a huge gain, till you do upgrade the exhaust system. I think Dino claimed 220 hp from a stock engine.
