HOrnbrod Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 24-21 still barely Bama. Bama's barely 18 year old freshman QB is feeling the pressure.
Tex06 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Just caught up. You need my email address? ;) Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
HOrnbrod Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 Jesus, Clemson wins in the last second due to a bonehead pass interference play by Williams that gave Clemson another shot for the TD. Hella game by Clemson QB Watson. Best National Championship game I've ever seen. Not happy about the outcome, but it Bama's streak had to end sometime.

Tex06 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Some of the worst officiating I've ever seen, but I agree. One of the best games I've ever seen. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
HOrnbrod Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 My lovely Filipina wife of 30+ years is inconsolable. Both of our daughters went to UA, and she saw her first live American football game in Tuscaloosa maybe ten or so years ago. Ever since she has been a TIDE FAN! Before that she never knew a real football had pointy ends. She's devastated now, and worn out by screaming (in her native language) at all the bad calls made against her team. Hope she gets over it soon............
Incommando Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Bama Elephants crush the Washington Dogs 24-7. Sigh. What's that, 26 straight now? Bring on the Ohio Buckflies or the Clemson Housecats next week for #27, don't matter who. :rotfl2: About this..... looks like the number is zero, not 27. :)
Tex06 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Oh yeah. 9-3 in bowl games. Which conference is the strongest this year?
HOrnbrod Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 About this..... looks like the number is zero, not 27. :) Yep. Nothing is forever. Bama will be back next year with a better QB who can pass and isn't barely 18 years old. Even then they almost pulled it off until the last second. Oh yeah. 9-3 in bowl games. Which conference is the strongest this year? ACC. And what are you crowing about? There's no team from LA in the ACC.
Tex06 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 ACC. And what are you crowing about? There's no team from LA in the ACC. I cheer for Tech because I went there. You cheer for 'Bama 'cause you went to Wal-Mart. :peek: :peek: :peek:
Incommando Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 You have to be more specific the "tech." That must only mean something to someone who went there... :)>
HOrnbrod Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 Must be ITI Tech in Baton Rouge. :dunno:
Tex06 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Georgia Institute of Technology, only the greatest engineering school in the world. Got a decent football team too ;)
shelbyluvv Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Georgia Institute of Technology, only the greatest engineering school in the world. Got a decent football team too ;) There's only one football team to root for in Georgia!!! Go Dawgs!
Tex06 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Hey, shelby who runs this state this year? Oh yeah....the Yellow Jackets! To Hell With Georgia! Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
HOrnbrod Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 Georgia Institute of Technology, only the greatest engineering school in the world. Got a decent football team too ;) Good school, but hardly the best. That distinction belongs to MIT with Stanford a close second. Might be the best in cheap tuition costs though.

Look again at national/world rankings for engineering schools. I think you'll be surprised at Tech and CalTech's standings. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
Incommando Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 They are #7 on the USNews site and a site of grad school recommendations. MIT was first on both lists.
HOrnbrod Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 Back on topic: Clemson Tigers 35Alabama Crimson Tide 31 Good game and congrats Tigers. Game over.
