Went to replace the tail light bulbs and in all 4 stop lamps there was this yellow stuff that kind of looks like dried up play-doh... is that something that is supposed to be there or is it something that the PO did that I should clean up? 33eac30d6c1cc3c07b9497e9207c2102.jpg62c813051e5218d8b90adfd8177892db.jpg

Thanks strokermjcomanche, that's what my next question was going to be since I had to use pliers to pull out the old bulbs piece by piece

I wouldn't use dielectric grease since it's non-conductive and will cause problems down the road. Use a conductive lubricant like Electralube or similar.

What kind of problems down the road is it going to cause, since I already used it the other day lol

Dielectric grease is what you use sparingly on electrical connector boots to seal out moisture. An example is spark plug boots. As long as you didn't gob a spoonful of grease inside the socket between the bulb and socket contacts you should be fine.
