Jackrabbit41
Has anyone ever put a line lock on their Comanche?
daking
For what, burning out? Or Winch control? (to lock the tires to prevent rolling). Or as a parking brake replacement? If burning out, just put a stroker or boost your current engine. No need for line lock. Also, you won't need to cheat with water under the tires... Or just use an open dif, and one wheel peel.. cruiser54
NEVER trust it as a parking brake!! One of my employees did and a medium duty flatbed tow truck of mine went down the hill and into a house as a result.
mnkyboy
I went with a hydraulic hand brake instead of a line lock,i can use it to hold on hills and obstacles or i can flip a lever and it will work like a parking brake. It has never bled off but i still don't trust it long term as a park brake.
Eagle
NEVER trust it as a parking brake!! ^^^ This. A line lock applies hydraulic pressure to the system. The system isn't designed or intended to be left under pressure for extended periods. VERY bad idea.
