I just watched that scene.  At first I saw the 97+ XJ Classic smashed and burned up and let out a whimper...then I saw the MJ and nearly lost it....

My '86 originally had the "tow mirrors".  And no 44.  :( 

But it does have factory 4.10 gears, so I've got that going for me...  which is nice...  :)
