airspeed
All settled up with the insurance and found my new ride. The Camry was a practical, reliable, economical and BORING! It was a nice quite ride with good mileage but once I got it home I thought to myself, now what can I do with it... nothing. Now I have something I can play with, there will never be a boring moment with an Audi in the garage. I found a 2006 A4 Quattro, 2.0T, 6spd Auto, fully loaded, 32k miles $14,991. This car was a garage queen, it has never been on a dirt road and I don't think it has ever been in the weather. It drives and looks new. This was a rare find, most people that get Audi's drive them into the ground. Excuse my photo editing.
ggcnash
Awesome car and you are correct people do drive them in the ground b/c they run forever. My mother just got a new a6 last Christmas she got out of an a4 around the same year as yours except hers had 283k when she traded in for the a6 great cars
Crash
Looks nice. The DSG is a great trans. Much better than the previous Tiptronic POS. Easy, and fairly inexpensive to mod to make lots of power. If I ever get around to buying a new, or at least 21st century made vehicle. It will either be an Audi A3 TDi, or a Golf TDI.
johnj92131
My better half just replaced her 2003 Camry with a 2015 Camry. Very reliable car. BUT boring is right. It is a good appliance. Just Boring. New Camry ads call the car EXCITING! What a lie! Now, German cars are not boring. And they are not cheap when you take them in for service either. My sister has been driving BMW for 25 years. Minimum dealer charge seems to be $900+ for anything. I have a 96 Passat TDI, dealer service is a little less expensive (not much) and dealer service is frequently terrible at best. You are lucky to find a low miles example. ENJOY it.

But yes very fun cars to driveNot sure about his exact year but they just recently changed to electronic readout instead of dipstick checking the oil is easy turn key forward do not start car scroll down menu to oil level and it tells you what you wanna know! Now I know it's electronic and lots of people frown on that, but I guess your buddy didn't look over his car very well there is a plug where the dipstick goes you can buy a stick from auto parts store for 10$ but trust me I was skeptical but I checked moms with stick and electronically same reading dead on every time. ggcnash
Audi thinking behind the plug is no contamination? Also if your buddy recently purchased the car Audi dealerships are giving the sticks out to replace the plug
