Megadan
easiest way to tell an AX-15 from a BA10/5 is to look at the transmission itself. The BA10/5 is bolted together down the middleThis thread covers it pretty well.http://comancheclub.com/topic/11104-how-to-tell-whether-you-have-an-ax-15-or-a-ba105-5spd-trans/

Blue88Comanche
MTF? Mambo Tango Foxtrot? WTF does MTF mean? my best guess is Manual Transmission Fluid. or My T.A.R.D.I.S. Flooded... The pool in the library might have been a bad idea after all...

The pool in the library might have been a bad idea after all... Probably a good guess. 71 years on the planet, and this is the first time I've ever encountered gear oil being called "fluid." WE'RE HERE TO COMMUNICATE! WHY CAN'T WE JUST USE WORDS?
Pete M
ATF vs MTF and yes I've seen it before. but anywho... according to your photo in the other thread it appears you have a Peugeot and that takes regular ol' 75-90 GL-5 gear oil.
Eagle
Honestly, I thought "MTF" must be some new brand of lubricant that I hadn't heard of.
