Megadan
The angle on the transmission makes it hard to decipher anything honestly. As for the bags, those are just aftermarket load assist helper springs. They are designed to help level the truck when you have it loaded heavy. Most of them don't tend to last very long, but you never know. If you can find the air fitting to inflate them, put some air in and see if they will hold it. fiatslug87
Yours is a BA10/5, this is a 2WD AX15, notice the difference?
Rockfrog
And the difference in mounts, tailhousings, and drain plug locations.
wutangwisdom
yeah figured the tranny out today drain plug is on the driver side and fill plug is on the passenger side just couldnt figure out how to get them off what size square bit? as for the load assister I found where to pump them up right next to the gas cap didnt have a compressor to check for inflateablity, will at a later time. I did however clean the egr and IAC and throttle body and it seems to idle better but still sputters once in a while not to the point Its going to stall though. Think I might change out the fuel filter next it looks pretty old or the map sensor which also looks old and rusty . Here are some more pics I took today while working on it one is of the oil pressure sensor ( I think) not sure how to remove it yet but will try to find some info on it. The other is a future headache which is my motor mount bushing theres about a 1/4 inch gap between it and the bracket.....
Rockfrog
Oil pressure sending unit ... Pull wire, it's just a 1/4" spade with a fancy rubber cover. Use a 27mm or 1 1/16" (some are 1 1/8" or even 1" depending on who made it). And turn it out. Replace with new one. Motor mount ... They all look like that, the top part is just a bracket brace, the mount is essentially two parts. The rubber mount molded to the lower part of the bracket, and the upper cover/brace. I just grabbed a set of Stinky Fab motor mounts to swap mine out though, I like that they are rebuildable with a common bushing.
wutangwisdom
I also notice that the 2 inch hose that goes from the front of the airbox to the header? has holes in it and should prob be replaced. I found out this will be a PITA job
Bobolink
The air bag is an add-on from AirLift Corp. Should be one on each side. You'll have to follow the plastic lines, if there are any left, to see where the schrader valve is to inflate them. There might have been a pump mounted that auto-inflated them, but I doubt the PO went to that expense. Oops, I-rocket89 beat me to it.............but actually, they do last, if properly cared for. They have to stay inflated to at least 5psi all the time so the insides don't rub through. I have a pair on mine that I use to level the truck when pulling my boat.
