...at the JY today from an '86 XJ. In great shape, no rust, no paint damage, I was very excited. Take a look at the condition of the reflector. I guess it was worth the 130 mile trip.

fiatslug,   What yard did you find them in?  I have been scouting yards in the Central Valley this last weekend, took a trip to Sparks to look at a couple of truck today.  Not much to find.  Had planned to go over to the Bay Area next weekend, supposed to be a couple of trucks in yards there.  But if you can tell me where not to go, that would be good.

At the north San Jose Pick-N-Pull. They have two '88 MJs pretty well picked/thrashed, and about half a dozen XJs.

San Jose North was on my list for next weekend.  Any of the XJ's looking good, or are they all picked over also?  Found a nice 91 XJ in Sacramento with a great over head console.  Not sure I need want it.

The Sparks Nevada Pic a part yard also has 2 MJ's.  One of them had a nice rear bumper and tailgate.  Both had nice tail lights, but that was it.  Both had bucket seats, but very poor condition.

There was an XJ with a black interior, looked fair but I wasn't really paying attention to XJs.

If you go see it again Mike, grab the glove box door if it's in good shape.

Going for the Grey 'N' Black look? Why not chrome? :D

Chrome is normally for the exterior, but when used tastefully, works well inside too.  :brows:
