Thanks, I think the only options it didn't have was cruise control and the auto tranny.

Trying to diagnose the no fuel issue first, no pressure at fuel rail, pump not on (PO SAID he put a new one in), and I have power at the relay. Did some swapping around of relays, still nothing. Going to redo the ground behind the drivers side taillight, as I've read that was a source of issues. That's it at the moment.

Yeah, going to swap out the D44 from the '86 and put it in the Eliminator, and sell the '86, I'm just not feeling with doing a motor/tranny transplant, when I found this '88 with the 4.0, manual and bucket seats. So far, replaced the fuel pump (they didn't replace it), and I have parts to replace the clutch master cylinder, o-rings for the injectors, fuel regulator, and straps for the rear axle drive shaft u-joint.

Well, installed the new clutch master cylinder and filled it up. When I pumped up the pressure, fluid promptly ran out of the bell housing, great, need new slave. The fuel regulator and CPS will be arriving tomorrow, so, hope to get it at least started tomorrow.

If you want to do an external swap...there's a 96 2wd 5speed with the external slave that you can do the swap with...at the upullit in davie

Thanks, but, Davie is pretty far from Stuart. I believe there's a '94 XJ with an AX15 in the Atlantic LKQ in West Palm, might check that out tomorrow.

Is it the same one I told lee about? If it's still there...what a miracle! I wanted to grab it that time I saw it but only had 30 mins till closing time and on a Sunday...and I was sure that someone would've grabbed it by then....

Ok, make a long story short, new CPS was bad, got another one, and it seems to be ok, getting spark at least. I can only get it to run for a couple of seconds. Tomorrow, taking the fuel rail off, cleaning the injectors, putting new o-rings on the injectors, cleaning the fuel rail, and replacing the fuel pressure regulator. Hopefully, I can get the engine to run after that. The slave will have to wait until next weekend because of the budget.

Ok, got the fuel pressure regulator replaced, and cleaned fuel rail out. Almost got it to run 4 secs this time!! Getting closer! Anyway, I got two other things not engine related done, I helped the drivers side window regulator past it's bad spot so I could roll the window up and get rid of the hideous tarp, and put the CJ's 32x11.50 spare on the pass side rear so I have four inflated tires on the Jeep!! Even at stock height, that size doesn't look ridiculous.

Will do about the stripes.

I got the interior finished. I took the tan XJ console that was going into the '86, painted it gray, and installed it in the Eliminator.

The color matched up pretty good with the door panels, so, the slight two tone effect will work.

Well, thanks to both Outlaw Star and Cruiser, we've narrowed the not running issue to a bad fuel/sludge in the fuel lines and tank. Going to be dropping the tank this week to clean it out. At some point this week or weekend, I'll be pulling the tranny to replace the clutch slave. In prepping for all of this, I had a friend help me in getting the Eliminator under the carport and on concrete to do these things
