Pete M
good lookin' tires  how well do they work?
Dadinator
The best tires we have had on the TJ since we have owned it. (Late 97) We strictly use at's because our jeeps are 90% street with dirt trails on my property and small farm use the only off roading. These work great in the rain on the street. They hydroplane the least. They are quiet. They have good grip in the dirt. I like them enough to put a set on the mj as well. They handle well too. we have had big o bigfoots, procomp at's and bfg at/ko's. Like these the best. and as a bonus cooper is one of the few manufacturers that still makes them in the good ol' U S of A!
Dillithium
I have had the same tires for about 2000 miles, love them!
87Warrior
I went with a metric equivalent on my 86 (265/75/15). Love the AT3's. Perfect tire for the Jeep that spends more time than it would like to admit on the road, but performs well in the dirt.
benjy_26
Nice treads! How would you compare them to the KO's?
87Warrior
Even though I have never run the BFG KO's on a MJ, I have on a YJ and an XJ. I feel the AT3 is a little more versatile than the KO with improvements in mud, snow, less noise on the road and an improved rubber compound that doesn't get rock hard in the cold. My experience with tires is relatively miniscule, so I'll let the Overland Journal crew do a much more in depth review for you. http://expeditionportal.com/where-the-rubber-meets-the-road/
Dadinator
My opinion on these vs the ko's is exactly what 87Warrior said plus what i said above.
benjy_26
Damn. The article is eye opening, as well as y'all's experiences. I've been bombing around on BFG products for about 15 years. I may need to branch out and try something new when the time comes for rubber.
