Epic 500,000 mile trip

Okay, so it's actually several trips, but I saw this on Jalopnik today, thought I'd share. I've always kinda wanted to do something like this, and hopefully I get the opportunity, although it's unlikely I'll ever be able to do so to quite the same extent.

At any rate, this guy took a Mercedes G-wagon to 179 countries.

That's amazing. Just imagine the attachment that couple had to that old Merc... The whole story is a real dream.  :)

I drove over 2,400 miles last month from NY to Utah and can't imagine spending that much seat time! I got tired of driving after 1,500 miles
