What transmission?

Got a '97XJ, 2.5, 5 speed manual. 2WD Sitting in weeds so can't see the tranny to ID for sure. Anybody tell me what the transmission should be?  I will be parting it out so if anybody needs any parts, let me know.

·         Late 1989–1999: Aisin-Warner AX15 5-speed manual, used with 2.5 L I4 diesel, 4.0 L I6, 23 spline output.

  AX-5 came behind our 2.5s

The 2.5 diesel engine (which I don't think we got in the US) got the AX-15. If you have the gasoline AMC 2.5 then you have an AX-5.

Sorry I should have made myself clear with the above.... the 15 is used with the motors listed the 2.5 was a 5  :D
