Loud bang and leak

I was leaving sonic near my house when I heard a loud bang got out and saw my radiator leaking...no clue what the bang was all I know is my radiator started boiling and steaming....made it home but I'm not sure what to do now

I've had two that exploded and the 'bang' is loud.

If it was leaking from the radiator, I assume you have an open system.

 

I have a closed system.  When I've heard the load "bang" it was the cap on the reservior bottle blowing off.

 

If you have the reservior bottle, get the new cap.  See Cruiser's reference to the NAPA cap.

My overflow tank has a plastic insert cap

Bolt came lose on the rad

The bottom of the radiator seems to be leaking like a pasta strainer
