That one does look stronger, and does come with the tubular upper part. Not sure if it comes painted though. The paint on the rough country one seems pretty tough. Now that I have my Comanche I picked up his rear bumper. Very well made. He is also open to adapting his current products to your specs. I had asked about adding a tire carrier to the rear bumper and he went as far as putting together a pic of what it could look like. Need to ask now about some SWB sliders. Now that I have my Comanche I picked up his rear bumper. Very well made. He is also open to adapting his current products to your specs. Best I've seen is from reson46 (wife'sj mj) with his custom made bumper with a hidden winch....I like the rustys but I don't like the way the winch is exposed from the bottom of the bumper.... Put a Smittybilt XRC bumper on the wifes XJ and ofter looking at it for awhile it dosen't look to bad but does have stickout.
