For the price, and I can't believe I'm saying this, Rough Country is cheaper. That one does look stronger, and does come with the tubular upper part. Not sure if it comes painted though. The paint on the rough country one seems pretty tough.

Here is a design that is cheaper than the Nate's, American made, and does not either block your radiator, stick out a mile in front of the jeep, or both

It was $386 shipped to my door. Ordered Monday...UPS says it will be delivered Wednesday. So many places have long turn-arounds on items like this.

Just throwing it out there as an option

The only thing that would bug me, is how far it sticks out.

I just ordered a Basic front/rear bumper & Rock sliders from nate last week.

For an XJ or what jeep?

I ran Nate's front and rear bumper w/tire carrier for years on my Cherokee. They stood up to everything I ran them into. Now that I have my Comanche I picked up his rear bumper. Very well made. He is also open to adapting his current products to your specs. I had asked about adding a tire carrier to the rear bumper and he went as far as putting together a pic of what it could look like. Need to ask now about some SWB sliders.

This may sound a bit strange.

I Really like the Middle and Winch placement and where it is closer to the Frame, on Rusty's,

I like the style of the Full Bumper and sides, but not how far it sticks out, from Nates.

Would you think either would think about designing these traits into 1 Bumper??

I would imagine I am not alone with this.

I don't mean to clutter your project build....

Best I've seen is from reson46 (wife'sj mj) with his custom made bumper with a hidden winch....I like the rustys but I don't like the way the winch is exposed from the bottom of the bumper.... The nates bumper sits in a cradle

Thanks for all the comments. I don't like the stickout either on most winch bumpers.  Put a Smittybilt XRC bumper on the wifes XJ and ofter looking at it for awhile it dosen't look to bad but does have stickout.  I agree with Grizzzzbear about the disign but don't know if it can be done on our jeeps (XJ,MJ).

Still deciding.
